Master of Defense looks like a high graphic version of the flash game Onslaught (or whatever other names it goes by) so I'm rather tempted to give it a try. :) The screenshots aren't bad either so I'd recommend checking them out.

Master of Defense looks interesting. I'm going to give it a shot.I snagged it, doesn't work well with a touchpad and does indeed need a good amount of graphic power.

Unlike the flash version this one mixes types of creatures within the waves.

Yeah, I started playing it and had some fun. Almost beat it first time around, but things went to Hell just over halfway through the last stage.
