Howard Stern is really upset with Sarah and calls her a "fluffy bunny."

Agree, agree, and... agree.
Yup. When Stern sounds more right than you, you've got a problem.
Fuck you Sarah. I so wish for her to be the 2012 republican candidate. Just to show her how much she's despised. I wouldn't wish her for the republican party, but if it would happen, MAN what a humility lesson she would get.
Landslide.

You really think so? I don't know. George W. Bush proved that it's the machine behind the candidate that really matters. If they could get him elected, then I'd say Palin's got a fair shot at it... and that's some scary-ass shit.

It's pretty unlikely.
Palin's supporters are vocal, but she doesn't have the broad support necessary to get elected. There are more than a fair number within her own party that can not stand her either. She receives an extreme amount of attention because she was a vice-presidential running mate, and she has since positioned herself as a political firebrand. However, in doing so, she's really made herself more of a political celebrity at the expense of things that would make her an appealing political candidate.
I mean, let's not forget: She resigned her governorship (and hence accountability) to focus on political punditry and fundraising. Most politicians resign to move to a higher or lateral position. She resigned to make herself a pure celebrity figure. Bush, no matter what you think of him, moved along a pretty traditional course along with a serious advantage with his family. This is before you even get into questions about her political acumen, experience, ability to handle interviews, and the fact that she's essentially thumbed her nose at the political machine that she would eventually have to court in order to get the nomination.
It would take an incredibly weak GOP field filled with Mike Huckabees for her to get the Republican nomination, much less win the general election.
I suppose anything's possible, but I think people elevate her stature in politics far higher than where she's really at.

She resigned to make herself a pure celebrity figure.
In doing so she has made MILLIONS of dollars more than she would of as governor. I don't think she will run for office again unless she feels she needs to do so to keep her bill rates up. Why do all the work of being governor and take the risk of things going wrong on your watch when you can make so much more money being a celebrity.

She will certainly run for president - she has to, her entire reason for existence is based on it. The second it is percieved that she is not doing it, her brand takes a 50% hit.
I also fully beleive that she hopes that she does not win the actual nomination - she wins by simply participating.

I am not sure what exactly her platform is on much of anything, I will go do my homework and come back.
