I've always preferred this one:

Although the original I remember didn't have Africa on it.

I guess bunny's map is for the sophisticates while Critter's link is for the regular guy. :)

And probably not India either, since it seems both were added by the same person.

Hah! Yeah. Whenever I think of the "More America" I can't help but think of some stoked frat guy yelling that with both arms up in the air as if also giving a big "fuck yeah!" with it.

And probably not India either, since it seems both were added by the same person.

Yeah, that I don't remember. What I do remember though, is that when I sent that to a friend of mine he called me to laugh. He then called me about two weeks later realized only then there was no Africa on it as he didn't even notice. I laughed hysterically for ages about the sheer irony of that.

Or the average backpacker.

See, now the first map makes the assumption that the average American knows we started out as British colonies. When everybody knows the first Americans were Pilgrims, not Brits!

Really ??? I thought they were Injuns

No, injuns were just the ferriners who had the audacity to be squatting on our land before we got here.

Yeah but they got us in the end with casino's and tax free cigs

Tone down the Obama obsession a bit and I'd say it's about accurate. Not sure most people know precisely where Redmond is located, though.

That's what you think it means? I thought it meant Mummy as in the movie The Mummy, because almost everyone in that movie hunting the Mummy had an English accent.

But, maybe you're right.

I'm confident that most Americans don't know where Redmond is either.

I thought both maps were hilarious.

So ... what are those maps like, when the shoe is on the other foot?
Give us a World Map from the European Point of View, and the Canadian, and Australian, and wherever you are! :)

And don't forget, somewhere on that world map is 161st Level Land ...

Isn't there a Redmond in every state...?

Perhaps some locations of TV series can be added to the US map and a sneer involving Canada.

Found another map...

I think the swedish one is more funny.

I wish there was an aussie one, but I'm too lazy.
