Of course this here is everybody's favourite forum, but occasionally you may stray from the path and visit some other forum, because you need information or want to talk about a subject that is beyond Kay's voluptuous scope.
So what other fora do you think are good, and why?
I for one cannot get over the genius of http://forum.wordreference.com . The idea is so simple: put language researchers and native speakers in touch with each other, but it's brilliant, and one of the best uses of the global nature of the internet. It has an immense user base: Members: 454,152, Active Members: 17,606, currently active users 12439 (334 members and 12105 guests), clear forum subdivisions, and any question you ask will get answers in minutes. Moderation is strict to keep everything clear and tidy. It's a great resource for me when translating or working on the dictionary.
