The model is the person that made the dress. The dress is based off one Inarra wears in Firefly.

My boyfriend saw that when it was on exhibit in the Art Gallery of Canada. Apparently it smelled bad and was covered in flies.

At first glance I didn't catch that, but before you replied I'd visited the photo-page and saw that it was a remake of the Inarra dress. Which makes the seamstress all that much cooler in my eyes.

But I still think what makes that a wonderfully cool dress is the beautiful woman who wears it.
