No...not this kind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathfinder_(military)) or this kind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathfinder_(RAF)) or even this kind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Path_Finder_(Gobots)). I am looking for people who play the RPG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathfinder_Roleplaying_Game)

Anyone else out there play?

The next time I run or play D&D, it will likely be Pathfinder (or possibly some weird hybrid of Pathfinder, Trailblazer, and Book of Experimental Might). But currently I'm running a rather long campaign I bought in Mutant (Swedish post-apocalyptic RPG), so not so much Pathfindering going on at the moment.

I am running a game now. Using pretty much as is PFRPG rules. I have a few house rules but nothing huge...wait...I do use the Ranger class from Kobold Quarterly. Ranger without spells. The gain "ranger talents" which is similar to "rogue talents". Always had issues with that class with spells.

Is anyone playing or running anything at or around 4th level currently?

Until half our game crew dropped out (FLAKES!!! :punch:) I was quite enjoying playing an elven Bard 4. My second PC was a half orc Fighter 1/Cleric (Gorum) 3. We had about a month or so of adventuring with just 3 players before it became apparent that the strain of keeping up 2 consistent personalities was too difficult. (This was Schizm's Age of Worms game, which we had been playing pretty intensely rp heavy.)

I prefer Pathfinder to any other edition of DND, honestly.

Our DM has stated a desire to try out Pathfinder once our current campaign arc winds down. I asked him recently though how far out he had this game planned, and he said we should all end up at 20th level or thereabouts. Which means this campaign has potential to run another three or four years.

But I'll remember to come to you for pointers round about 2015.

Hopefully we'll be playing our second session Friday.

We were really happy with it our first session after the snooze fest that 4E was.

Okay...this is a long shot but why not.

Due to changes in schedules, family life and the like my current IRL gaming group is pretty much down the crapper. Only Nakani and Mac...a friend who is NOT on Kays is left.

If you are interesting in playing Pathfinder let me know, doesn't matter if you have before or not AND live in the NCR area I would like to know if you want to join my group. We meet at Nakani's house in Arlington every other Sunday. I want to have a group of 4-6 players.

I am using a home brewed campaign setting. I am withholding details until I meet whomever IRL since I don't want to bog down stuff here in Kays. If you do want to play I am using Obsidian Portal to help distribute information about the campaign rather than hand out after hand out with emails sprinkled in.

Hmm...I might actually be interested. I mean, Arlington's a bit of a hike from Quincy, but it's not like we're THAT far away from each other, and I have been wanting to get into a good D&D game lately.

I have no idea where Quincy is. Maryland maybe?

Nope, right outside Boston. So, wait, are you in Arlington, Maryland? I was thinking Arlington, Mass.

Just hearing about this now.

As a 3.5 nut, this excites me.

Do epic/deities & demigods 3.5 rules still mesh with this? Are monsters way different due to all the new feats and such?

Stuff does convert/mesh fairly well. Paizo has a conversion document on their website for conversion that's fairly decent and references the core rulebook fairly well.

you can also get a look at what the monster's stat blocks look like if you check out the free preview of their bestiary.
