I've seen this before, but I had burned out the memory. Now the trauma begins anew!

This is the trailer they showed Alan Moore when they asked him to endorse the movie, right?

That cartoon always makes me cackle with glee. So many in-jokes for those familiar with the story. "I'm nutty" indeed. XD

This...is...a...joke...right? Please say this is a joke. I know the networks are desperate for cartoons to suck kids in for ratings...but Watchmen?

No dude, it's dead serious. Moore won't even talk to the press about it -- they can't get a reaction out of him. He just hangs up when they call. DC's defending their decision with the usual lines of corporate glad-handling bullshit. You can expect to see this on Saturday mornings, come September, with a planned line of action figures to go along with it. They're even talking about doing a line of kid-friendly comics based on the property, like they did with Batman Adventures, Justice League, etc.

*blink, blink* Okay...there is a joke or something in that statement. If so I failed my Sense Motive check. :D
ANYHOW....cartoons. Is it me or are cartoons nowadays either GREAT or CRAP...no middle ground anymore it seems. Either that or I am getting old or something.
