Is it just me, or is anyone else unable to get to their site??

I get a firefox error message no matter how I try to get there.

Has the place closed? Changed address? I imagine I'm out of the loop and ignoring something very obvious, but I'm actually stumped as to what happened to the place.

I was just there. No problems at all.

http://www.circvsmaximvs.com/

Works for me. If you're using the old URL (I think it had been circusmaximus at a time), then I'm surprised it lasted this long.

Something weird, because Morbs can get there from her work too, but I can't.

I'll try from home sometime.

Anyone want to ask there if I've been somehow IP adressed banned - if that's even possible.

Do you really want to go there?

Do you really want to go there?

I got an invitation ages ago and then saw it mentioned again here.

I'd love to be able to see the bloody place, yes.

Try using something other than firefox. I can get onto the site using firefox but can not do anything. It only shows me text and I see no pictures or function buttons so it is pointless to even look at it. So try using IE.

Atticus,

I have no problems getting there with FF either from home or at work.

Does it time out or just say Page Not Displayed?

Atticus,

I have no problems getting there with FF either from home or at work.

Does it time out or just say Page Not Displayed?

Error message I get is:

The connection has timed out

The server at www.circvsmaximvs.com is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

So, if it's not a 404, it's not a DNS problem. If you were registered there, I'd say you've been miserableusered, because the server is perfectly responsive as far as I'm concerned. But since you're not, I've no explanations.

Can you access EN World without these time outs? It's on the same server...

Aha! Exact same problem with EN World. Which means ... [exhausts IT knowledge]

What does it mean? Meeep :(

It's midnight here. I've just finished draft of opinion that should have been done weeks ago. Hove to go home, sleep and be back in here to work on something else by 9. Going home now.

Meeep :(

Which means that for some reason, your intarweb passes through congested tubes to go from Ozzieland to wherever in Muricania Cyberstreet's servers are.

Well, I don't know about the corporation you work for Atticus, but the corporation for which I work uses a proxy to block such things as MySpace, Facebook & Circvs Maximvs.
