howdy! :)in a couple days i am headed to the national rainbow gathering (this yr held in the Alleghaney forest of PA.

i look forward to a good dose of roughing it, hippie comradere, and personal healing. these days i have regular pca help, was unable to find one to go with me, but i have networked a bit and feel fairly confident i will get the help i need. the seizures are not well controlled at all in #, but they are controlled in the sense that meds are keeping them from being severe.

When you say severity do you mean fewer tonic-clonic and more partials, either simple or complex?

simple and complex partial seizures. sometimes in a daze for hours of seizure activity; sometimes just a couple dozen little ones a day. i now have atavan to take for the seizures that last a long time (status epilepticus). my med coctail is keeping the activity from spreading all over the brain(grand mal), and stopping most convulsive activity.

Glad the tonic-clonic are under control.
I can very much sympathize on the lots of simple and partial. Not fun at all.
At least with focal status epilepticus is isn't the lethal thing risk as status epliepticus with tonic-clonics. Still doesn't make it fun.
