View Full Version : What to do with spaghetti, recipe help
okay I got 2, 7 oz. boxes of spaghetti, 1.5 lbs of ground meat and some "chunky" Ragu sauce. I don't feel like the plain old pasta and meat, suggestions ?

Look at noodles and throw them away, they are icky.
Fry the hamburger up. Season to taste. Mix in with sauce simmer 1-2 hours near last 15 minutes add a can or two of mushrooms.
Serve over coarse shredded cheese (I would do a sharp cheddar but use what you like) mixed evenly with medium chopped sweet onion.
Got to feed a bunch, the noodles are filler, mushrooms and black olives at the end

Mix the mea with some minced garlic and basil and bread crumbs. Chop the olives up really small and mix them in. Make balls and fry in a small amount of oil, drain and set aside.
Dump your sauce in a saucepan and swish red wine in the jar to get the lat bits out, dump it in. Bring to a low boil and then simmer for at least two hours. Add meatballs near the end.
Do this over your pasta.
Take the white of a couple of eggs, mix with finely minced garlic and spread on bread. Top with small amount of butter and bake till yummy good. Just before it begins to brown hit it nwith the cheese.
Place a glass upside down on the plate and put spaghetti all around it. Remove glass and fill the hollow spot with the sauce and meatballs.
Get a bag of mixed greens, chop up some strawberries really finely and lay on top, serve on a plate with the bread.
