It was cheerleader, not like it was a collie or something?...

You know, I was thinking about this whole, "save the cheerleader, save the world" thing the other day.... even though they tried, the world still ends up proper fucked, no?

I think Hiro needs to realize you can't dick with time and expect things to change in predictable ways. There's not a single instance you can point to and say THIS was what caused it! Stop THIS!

Oh, and Ando was always way cooler and significantly less irritating. Hiro needed to grow the hell up.

Hiro only grew up in the alternate timeline. Which sucks because that's the badass Hiro I liked.

In the interest of full disclosure, I grew disgusted with the show about four episodes into season 2 and didn't watch it at all for the rest of that season. I saw a bit of 3 before realizing that nothing had changed and in fact everything had gotten a whole lot worse (not talking about plot or mood, talking about the unbearably shitty deterioration in the quality of the show and slower-than-glacial-migration pacing).

I really enjoyed season 1, and was looking forward to season 2. Then I started watching it. Then I started only watching for the bits with Hiro. Then I stopped watching it.

I tried to get the SO to watch it, but he didn't make it past the first episode. There was a line like: "But Mohinder, your father was the leading expert on human evolutionary genetics!" and he was like :grey: *click*.

Isn't that like when your SO got upset about one of those magic movies? Your SO's need to chill the fuck out.

That really is just a terrible, terrible line. He did ask me if the writing improved and I was ambivalent so he didn't keep going.

I call it "fitting 25 minutes of character background into one sentence."

Not that it's good writing, but it still can be necessary.

I still think he needs to chill.

Don't worry, it wasn't the same level of outrage provoked by your favorite movie, I know because he wasn't shouting angrily at the screen.

I hated season 2 but loved season 3.

It's too slow to watch every week, though. You have to wait until it's over and then watch a whole season over a week or so.
