Book Description
For more than 70 years, fantasy fans have followed the exploits of Conan through novels, comic books, and movies. This book, the first-ever illustrated guide to Robert E. Howard's most beloved character, is a genuine treasure chest of Conan lore, following Conan through the ages, through his different careers, as he meets friends and foes and travels across the Hyborian continent.

I've really enjoyed this book. It greatly adds to the epic feel of Conan. Anybody that loves Conan should consider this book.

Every time I'm in one of the "big box" book barns, if I see it lying around it always gets another look. I think I've ruined about fifty copies of it by now. I'd hate to actually buy it and lose that little guilty pleasure.

Arrrrrrgh. I hate being on a tight budget. I want to get this and the Conan books that collect Howard's tales... frickin' dying for it.

Time to go roll a yuppie. :( And I was doing so well, too! My sponsor's never going to let me live this down.

I've been looking for the collected Howard tales, and come up dry consistently. It's pissing me right the fuck off, I want that instant gratification of finding the books and ripping right in, I don't want to order them online.

Fuck just-in-time retail. Fuck it in the ear.

Use a condom, PWD. Every time you fuck him in the ear, you're fucking the ears of all of the people he's let fuck him in the ear in the last five years. Think about that.

Must have this book. . I shall crush all who stand in my way, see them driven before me and hear the lamentation of their women.

I've been eying it up too but haven't really had the cash to pick it up. It's a really nice book from what I could tell from browsing.

Honestly, the only reason I haven't picked it up? Too short. It could be a much more comprehensive volume, and that, that I would buy. Tack more maps, more art, more comic panels, more book excerpts, and I'd buy it without a second thought.
