Okay so it is September which means that the new seasons of shows starts in the next several weeks. I can not wait to get back some of the fall shows.
When do your shows premier for the season?

Lost.
You'll be waiting quite some time, Eh. Quite some time.
Heroes
(I don't think there's any Battlestar Galactica yet, otherwise I'd totally say that)

And Heroes. Although the finale was sort of underwhelming.
I'm in the minority, it seems -- I thought it was a perfect ending. They've been giving nods to comic book tropes all season, and in the end they did exactly that: heroic sacrifice, love and hope winning out over cynicsm and self-interest, and a villain's end leading to an escape and a likely re-emergence. The only thing I wish they'd done better was the fight between Peter and Sylar -- and that could have been taken to the next level with a simple change: when Peter was beating on Sylar after absorbing Jessica's strength, having the pavement crack or buckle under Sylar. Or the signpost bending when he was smacked with it. Just some subtle, minor effects in the environment around them.
Other than that, I thought it was textbook. Tied up lots of plot points, and opened a bunch of new ones for us.
Shows I'm waiting for:
Heroes
Supernatural
Smallville
Though it looks like CityTV dropped Supernatural, which pisses me off.
Smallville felt like it jumped the shark a year or two back, and has been in steady decline -- but the end of last season dialed things back up a few notches and, this being the last season, it might have some solid material coming in.

Damn, I only recognize ER off your list, Dawnstar. I am so out of the loop.
I'm a devoted History and SciFi channels geek, maybe I need to change the channel once in a while! :o

Just some subtle, minor effects in the environment around them.See, I didn't want subtle. The whole season has been leading up to the Peter/Sylar confrontation, I wanted big! blamo! all-out special effects. I wanted to see Peter flying circles around Sylar while dodging chunks of buildings and cars Sylar was telekineticly throwing at him. I wanted to see both of them stretch their powers to the limit in an all out throw down fight.
That's what let me down. Everything else was pretty cool.

I'll forgive them given the budget considerations. :) As it is, being a show that started out without heavy corporate support, I'd imagine their budget for season 1 was probably pretty skimpy. Computer graphics have completely transformed the industry... what was done on Heroes would have been insanely expensive for a TV show 10+ years ago, and probably still would have looked like crap.
I'd imagine they've got a nice, fat budget for season 2. Or at least a healthier one.

That is okay. I got into NCIS and The Unit because for the longest time that was the only channel we got on our tv. After that I was hooked.

I think Space also carried it last season. I think they showed the episodes on Friday or Saturday night.

Waiting for:
Heroes
Supernatural
Medium
Smallville
Giving a try:
Bionic Woman
Moonlight
Pushing Daisies
Reaper
Sarah Conner Chronicles
New Amsterdam
Jouneyman (only because of its slot)
I really only expect Bionic Woman to be any good. I expect to like Moonlight, but have it cancelled. I expect the inverse from Pushing Daisies. The others, will probably be mercifully culled, but I'm giving them a couple of episodes. Heck, I've watch three episodes of Flash Gordon. I'm sure I'll survive three hours of Summer Glau as a termanatrix.

That's Tuesday Night mustseeTV for me :)
I found the Description for Reaper :The new CW show Reaper about a boy whose parents sold his soul to the devil has burned its way up the search charts landing at No. 5 on the Yahoo! TV Buzz list. (Premieres Tuesday, Sept. 25)(Damn sept 25th) and Chuck looks intresting. Cavemen will last 2 shows.

I like The Unit for the military stuff, plus the finale was pretty good and show-shaking. I dislike the Unit for the wife stuff. Annoying.

Not at the moment, but I'm hoping that City will pick it back up when the new season starts. They own the Space network, too, so there's some hope. They also own A Channel, and when they dropped Smallville off of City TV they started playing it on A. So... dunno. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It is nice to see that at least one other person watches NCIS and The Unit because whenever I have mentioned The Unit before, i would hear the crickets.

Heroes. 'nuff said.
Supernatural - Teh wife and I caught up on this (thanks to a friend for loaning us dvds) over the summer. It's bloody good shite, and i'm wondering where the hell they'll go from here.
Battlestar Galactica. when scifi gets around to it.
Stargate Atlantis. because I loves me the silly pulp fun.

Both Battlestar Galactica and Supernatural are filmed here in Vancouver.

Can you kidnap the actor who plays Dean (I'm too lazy to look his name at the moment) and ship him to California for me? Pretty please?
I think the only reason Reaper has had such high search humbers is because no one knows what the hell the damn show is about, the commercials tell you nothing and look almost silly.
I thought Battlestar Galactica was getting cancelled for some reason.
About all I'm looking to see in the way of old shows is:
CSI - I want to see if Sarah buys it or not
Criminal Minds - want to see how it is without Mandi Patinkin and it's always good to see Shamar Moore (yummy)
Supernatural - always good fun
Of the new shows I'm curious about:
Chuck
Reaper
Moonlight
Torchwood - actually looking forward to this one
I'd never even heard of the Sarah Connor Chronicles so I'm going to have to go look that up. And this about Summer Glou as a terminatrix?

Oh, maybe that's what I heard. With Starbuck on her own show and all I guess everyone sort of saw it coming anyway. Besides, the last episode pissed me the fuck off.
