Last night before bed I went to check in on my kids. When I got to Nicole's and Katelyn's room I noticed something was a little out of place. I asked Sing to bring me the camera. And this morning when I showed these pics to Nicole she said that she had one extra stuffed animal in the line up.

When I was a kid I use to pretend that my stuffed animals would come to life. Now I have a life size stuffed animal that sneaks in to my kids room at night to sleep with the rest of the fluffy toys. :heh:

Charley is adorable!
I don't know how I'd manage not to eventually accidentally squish a dog his size, though.

Charley is adorable!
I don't know how I'd manage not to eventually accidentally squish a dog his size, though.
He's been squished accidentally a couple of times now. My youngest daughter has fell on him a few times. He knocked himself out once while play with my black lab. That scared me good. But over all he's a really durable little critter. He likes to climb into bed with me and sleep under the sheets. It's hard to sleep deeply with him there because I always fear I'll roll over on him or Singularity will.
One big perk about having a dog this size is that he fits in my coat pocket. He goes everywhere with me. Store, work, pick up kids from school, girl scouts and he's even gone out to dinner with us on a few occasions. I'm surprised no one has ever made us take him out of a store or restaurant.

The pom I had (Gretchen) used to go to work with me at the florist shop. She was very quiet (not normal for a pom at all) and most of the time would just lie down along the edges of the room while people walked around so she would be out from underfoot.
Because she would be doing this so serenely and not moving at all in general most of the time people would go to pick her up to buy her as a stuffed animal, then she would look up at them or something and they would be startled.
She was also very good at being supportive to families that were there to get arrangements, etc. for funerals. Would just go and sit next to individuals and they would generally start petting her and some would pick her up and hold her on their lap. It was very helpful to many of them (they would come back and say so later often).

Gretchen sounds like she was an amazing dog. I remember you sharing pics of her.
