I'm a poor college student and lack funds for awesome miniatures. Thus, I've been mixing what miniatures I do have with paper tokens, but that is not exactly working out.
I'm trying to figure out where I can get round, plastic miniatures online and then glue/decoupage the paper token to the base. Does any body have any recommendations?

They have most everything, from books to dice to minis, and yes, mini bases.

A fairly cheap way of doing some good minis and counters is the magnetic stacking tool. Small circular magnets that you can punch out pictures, glue on metal washers and hook with the magnets. For twenty bucks for the magnets and then 10 bucks for the washers, they do a nice job for the gamer on a budget.

Specifically, this is what you want:

This works really well.

for low budget, use pennies and poster-tack.

Well, yes. This certainly IS the most budget conscious option available.
I guess we need to know what the OPs actual budget is.

I'm looking for cheap but professional. I'll post some examples when I get around to making them.
