Over the weekend my wife requested I make Pesto Pasta... I had forgotten how much I HATE making Pesto. Its not hard...

Basil
Pine nuts
Parmesean
garlic
olive oil

but its damn hard to get right.

In this case the damn basil I had been growing turned out to have a robust scent and no flavor... WTF?

Do you have any dishes you hate making?

Raviolis. Making the filling and making the dough is easy.

Rolling out 300+ raviolis sucks ass.

Sushi. Sure it's easy to make, but getting all the pieces to stay still on the naked asian chick is a real bitch.

I hate making eggs some days, because I always end up burning some onto the pan, and it's a pain in the ass to scrub it off.

My basil, oregano, and parsley this year suffered as well. My tomatoes barely produced, my cherry tomatoes kicking the roma's asses. I think I got two romas total out of three plants. :mad: My jalapeņos and cayennes did very well, and they are blazing hot this year.
