Damn... I only ever looked at this company's Elmore lines and never cared for those. Guess I'd better look deeper into their catalog.

These are pretty damn nice. I especially like the Hound with his cool ass helmet and burned face.
Thanks for the link.

That is some beautiful sculpting! It's rare to see such proportion and detail in minatures. Normally they look at least quasi-deformed.
These would be a fine addition to our local WFRP games, and would work brilliantly for Ars Magica or Harn as well -- nice, realistic armour, clothes that evoke a certain period. Lovely.

These are sweet! As a Game of Thrones fan, these only enhance my enjoyment of the books.

I can't stand A Game of Thrones, as books. I simply don't like the story or the writing style, or the fact that it's another one of a never-ending book series I don't care to follow. If a series goes on and on, but has real breaks in mood, time, focus, principal characters etc, I don't mind. But GoT just goes on and on, and I got bored before I finished book 2.
However, as a setting, I think it rocks. The flavor of the books is awesome. And man, I do love the art associated with the series. But these minis, they look incredible. If they make a miniatures line out of GoT characters, a true gaming line, I will end up spending vastly more money on GoT pewter than I ever did on GoT paper products.

I agree the books are long and ol' George rr is crazy. But I do think it is one of the most compelling fantasy series in a long time. No character is safe from death or misery. I think there is a lack a focus and too much going on, but it still has greatness in all that chaos. It does take a commitment to stick with it. No more than Jordan's books...
