Nutella is MARVELOUS! i discovered it in germany about 1987--it was used there like we use peanut butter or jelly. I like it in any way that either of those two productscan be used, with the added benefit of using it any way chocolate can be used. Ice Cream is ssoooo yummy.

Nutella spread on apple slices is divine. Or on pound cake.
Or just by the spoonful. :o

You know, "crepe" is just the way we say "pancake". :)
Yes, pancake places often have Nutella topped pancakes.
I used to love Nutella, but I guess I got tired of it. It does nothing for me now.

Me too, and I thought it was so exotic...I pretty much lived off the crepe vendors in Paris while I was there.
Then I saw Nutella on the shelf at my local Kroger in Carbondale when I was going to college.

nutella can be melted gently in the micro and used any way you would use regular syrup--or hersheys chocolate syrup--also, try it on celery sticks!
sorry northcutt-- this whole thread is probably horrifying you as a health-person

I always grew up thinking 'crepes' were called 'pancakes' because we used to have them for special breakfasts at home, and that's what my (formerly) English parents called them. I was so disappointed to order them at a restaurant once and get fat flapjack things. :( I definitely prefer crepes.
Also, Nutella kicks ass. We used to have it for birthday breakfasts on croissants - makes them like chocolate croissants, but with more chocolate! Yum!

Whipped butter with garlic is awsome as well.
Ed has in the past posted 50 page tirades and rants about the inhumanity of peanut better as a food stuff and as an allergen risk.
It was AMAZING.

That isn't the normal way of eating peanut butter? How are you supposed to eat it?

Nutella is pure ambrosia.
Dip peanut butter cookies, shortbread or Pirouette (tubular cookies filled with hazelnut or vanilla creme) into it, spread it on Graham crackers or eat it by da spoonful.
Now, peanut butter is good, but the best was chocolate Koogle, which can be approximated by mixing 1lb of peanut butter and 1lb of chocolate (hershey bars are fine) and nuking it for a minute or so and stirring the molten goodness together.
Orgasmic.
