So, you want me to read people's posts now?
I get the feeling if I start doing that, this whole messageboard will become "less about me" and will start involving things I don't care about like "other people's opinions", "other people's idea's" and "feelings".

We were going to eat at KFC tonight but when we got there they were crowded and the drive thru had a 20 car waiting line. I think we'll try again in a few days. Thankfully the coupons are good for a few weeks.

This explains a lot. I stopped at KFC on the way home from work tonight (another 14 hour joy) and got in line at the drive-through, maybe eight cars in front of me. I was a bit surprised but didn't think much of it, except that the cars didn't move. Fif-fucking-teen minutes later, there are at least 12 cars behind me and seven or so to the side of me because this KFC has TWO lanes that lead to the drive-through and everyone was road-raging their way into line.
Took me like five minutes to Austin Powers my car out of their and go buy some Church's Chicken instead. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what the fuck was going on with KFC. I was wondering if they had suddenly begun adding 13 herbs and spices, and number 12 and 13 were opium and crack.
This explains it, though: Oprah has entirely too much money.
As for the Church's Chicken, it was okay, and is usually pretty damn good, but because I couldn't have KFC, it was, of course, all I really wanted and all I could think about. The Church's could not compete with my unrequited lust for those eleven herbs and spices.

Here ya go:
Kentucky Fried Chicken Spice
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 tablespoon oregano leaves
1 tablespoon powdered sage
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons dry minced parsley
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons onion salt
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder (or 4 cubes, mashed)
1 package Lipton tomato Cup-a-Soup mix
Place all ingredients in blender and pulse for 3-4 minutes to pulverize, or rub through a fine strainer. Store in an airtight container so the spices will not lose their potency. Makes about 3/4 cup.
Add 1 ounce mix to every one cup of flour for coating chicken.
It's not the official recipe but it tastes identical.

You, sir, are a corporate espionage genius, a culinary Robin Hood, and I salute you.
This means, of course, that I will have to work in some home made KFC around my upcoming jambalaya, which I've bought the ingredients for already. Looks like I be cooking!
