Since video taking seems to be my newest hobby I figured I'd make a thread for my videos.

Here's one of the walrus at the zoo. He snores.

Same walrus. Close up. You can hear him snoring better in this clip.

I was taking some pictures of Charley last night when he decided he was done with it all for the night. :heh:

Those were FUN!

I wish more KT'ers would post vids.

I know I'd liked to see more videos from others. Do you have anything to share Trainz?

I love zoos :)

That puppy has a very yippy bark!

Here's one my girlfriend took when we were driving along Hadrian's wall

I took this the other day. I'm sure you all are tired of seeing my puppy but I'm not tired of sharing yet. My cat is one very patient kitty.

My parents gave my kids a bouncy castle. I set it up today and they had a lot of fun bouncing around. In this video are my 3 youngest children.

Those were great! Thanks LF! I echo Trainz: I wish more people did this.

Hell, I wish I did this. Unfortunately, while I'm a bit more advanced than a fetus when it comes to computers, I know jack shit when it comes to cameras. Most are digital now, I gather, but I can't tell half the time when one is a video camera or a still-photo camera, as the lines between them seem blurred, like a pornstar's eyesight as she tries to find the bathroom after a Puerto Rican money-shot to the face.

I'm going to have to stop procrastinating and actually figure out what the hell a megapixel really stands for, in practical terms, and how much it will cost me for a hobby-class camera suitable for some still shots and YouTube clips.

I'm just glad that you all don't mind me sharing part of my life here. I think it gives more incite as to who I really am.

AZ, my camera is a Samsung 10.2 mega pixel. I have a 4gb card so I can take up to 60 mins of video or 1000 pics on the finest setting. Works good enough for me. I like it because it's easy to use and I can switch back and forth from video to still shoots with a flick of a switch. I got it as a gift so I'm guessing my parents didn't spend more then $250 for it.

I bought my girlfriend an 8 mega pixel Samsung camera for $150. The videos I posted were taken with it. Once you get above 6 mega pixel on a compact camera it doesn't really matter (other than taking more space to store each picture).

A couple of videos I took tonight of the grizzly bears on campus. It's hard to get a good still shot through the double fences.

Last week I took my girls to visit Walla Walla and ride the Ferris Wheel. This is the video clip from that experience. :)
