Pathfinder and Vacancy

I watched these last night.

Pathfinder was pure crap with totally unrealistic scenarios about Vikings or First Nations, unrealistic gore and stupid weather.

Vacancy was a decent idea for a thriller. I wet myself at least twice.

I got home from watching the football game to find my roommate Jenny watching Vacancy. She turned abrubtly to look at me and said "I'm so glad you're here!"

I guess she was scared... I had to chuckle.

Did not seen Pathfinder but got the same impression!
Vacancy was entertaining and so was 1408 in a similar style.

Saw Pathfinder. Writer/producer type dude said "We didn't write any dialogue, we just imagined scenes". Well, it shows. A handful of memorable shots in an ocean of "wow, this is totally failing to engage me".
