I think that message will go a long way towards helping with Iran. I think the primary thing Iran wants is to be recognized as a power. They still remember and think of themselves as the Persian Empire. Obama touching upon there greatness will be a good thing in their mind. A well keyed message that indicates Obama understands what will work with them.*
