Starting on 03/10/2009 I have 3 updates I can't install; each time I try I get a 80072F78 Error at around 60% download. The updates are:

Security Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB958690)
Security Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB960225)
Update for Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter for x64-based Systems [March 2009] (KB905866)

I've downloaded other updates since then without any problems but these three just refuse. A couple times now Windows Update has turned "green" and told me that I don't need the updates and that all is well, only for them to appear again a few hours later. I've changed my update settings to Automatic, Notify only, Download then let me install, all of it with no luck.

I've gone over the suggested fixes that Windows has for this error (an Unknown Error) and am wondering if anyone else running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit has the same problem.

I would suspect my new install of Nod32 4.0 which I installed and activated the day before, on 03/09/09, but I've downloaded updates since then and on the 9th, too, without any problems. Nod32 is great and has never interfered before and I doubt it would interfere with just these 3. Just in case, though, I DID deactivate Nod32 without any change, as well as Windows Defender, Superantispyware, and Malwarebytes. I even turned off my Firewall and plugged my computer directly into the modem instead of behind my router and its NAT.

Any ideas?
