2006 4 door Honda Civic battery not holding or getting a charge, Bringing it in tomorrow for a check up. Hopefully it's the alternator because that'd be under warenty. But more likely needs a new battery which wouldn't be warintied

At least a battery's cheap... relatively speaking. I had an alternator once that would kill batteries, went through 3 of them in the course of six months before the stupid fuckers would take a closer look at the alternator.

Of course that was a piece of shit '85 turismo, so it was to be expected. This was the same car that I had to put in 'new' starters every two months for a year.

This is why owning new cars sucks.

I expect our cars to fall apart!

*raises beer*

Mine just died for good, she's at the point where the RoI of fixing her is sooooooo not worth it. So I feel your pain, man.

When I first saw this thread I thought it was about your car being really done for. And instead i see, oh she is just down for a little bit until she is quickly repaired.

My car lives again with a new battery.... strangly Honda was out of batteries so I had to go elsewhere...... and yes when I turnes the key I did go "it's alive......IT'S ALIVE!!!"
