Got a look at it tonight, the Paizo 'zine, not the movie. Real promising start to the arc. Beautiful art, and while I didn't delve into the particulars it looks to be a more interesting campaign than most recent campaign path.

Still, it's a one trick pony. Not much reason to pick it up if you aren't going to run it, unlike the print mag, which was chock full of comics, advice and multiple adventures. Having a hard time still justifying the price.

But, it's quite nice nonetheless. It has everything you need, all the info you need to get a session running with nothing else to tote.

I got confirmation that mine shipped. It will be interesting to look and see if it's worth continuing on with.

I picked it up while at GenCon, mainly just to see if it was worth a fuss. It gets a hearty shoulder shrug from me.

What's it about ?

Its going to be a series of 6 issue adventure paths, from the look of it. Every 6 months = a new path.

I pretty much already knew that it wasn't going to replace Dragon or Dungeon, but still, I hoped.

It's strictly going to be an occasional to rare "off-the-shelf" buy for me. Not going to subscribe. But man, I need SOMEthing to replace Dragon. Crusader, KotDT, Kobold Quarterly - they just ain't cutting it.

[Crusader would fit the bill nicely, if they could iron out distribution issues.]

Cool, all 3.5 DnD or will they try other products ? Whats the first arc BTW ? O 6 is way better then 12 IMO

The first arc centers around the power sources of a long imprisoned wizard that was once one of the 7 kings in a magocracy. PCs end up seeing the power sources - called runewells in the path - in action, and eventually have to deal with the wizard while the BEBG tries to regain his former power

My husband seems to think I might be able to use some of the stuff in my current campaign. We'll see about that.

I picked up the first issue just to get a better look at their take on goblins. Turns out I can't use them completely as is, but they'll work nicely with a few modifications.

mine shipped a couple days ago, so I got the PDF for free (as a subscriber).

I dig it, it's about what I wanted. I'll have a better review-idea of it once I can read it in hardcopy, because I'm much more comfortable reading anything in hardcopy.

Hey, I saw elsewhere, unsubstantiated, that there will be an official Paizo C&C conversion of this. Can anyone speak to that? Lisa?

On the paizo boards, Erik Mona stated that there will be "officially sanctioned" C&C and True20 conversions of pathfinder, done by Troll Lord games and Green Ronin, repsectively.
