I've been debating with myself for the last few days whether to just silently reintegrate or out myself. Well Singularity has forced my hand.

For the record I would have resumed posting here using the Vizzini account but I forgot the password and the email is registered to an account I no longer can access.

I'm here because I will not be returning to ENWorld or CM under any circumstances. My reasons were privately disclosed to the administration there. I will not discuss them.

If I am welcome here I will stay. If not I will leave. This should be clear enough within a week or so.

I am sick of online drama and politics. Making this post is a step towards a fracas of such I want no part. There are a few here, on CM and EN World that I would like to think might worry if I abruptly disappeared - this post is for them.

Aki is a Japanese name that means "bright" but also means "autumn." The avatar is the kanji glyph of the name. It describes much of how I feel these days.

Cheers to that sentiment. I had no idea you were Spoony, Aki, and I will continue to hold my neutral (with tendencies to positive) opinion of you. I haven't read enough posts of yours as Aki to have any strong feeling one way or another, but I like to give people the opportunity to establish themselves before I pass judgment.

I approve of the name, and the kanji, but I'm something of a Japanophile. To the extent that Aki is a new name and not an alt, my warmest welcomes and all is forgotten. I'd love to get to know you again without the drama this time, and will make every attempt to give you that chance.

I hope this comes across in the spirit it is meant, as one of absolution and openness and not accusatory. Certainly no attack is meant but I'm a bit suspect of my rhetoric at the moment.

3. I have no idea what happened at CM or ENWorld, but as someone who doesn't spend a lot of time at either anymore, I can understand why someone might have problems over there. With all the 4E zealots over there, I feel a bit unwelcome. But then my hate for 4E has gone from white hot to kind of a dull orange. I walked away from WotC years ago and I'm just happy I parted company before 4E arrived so that I wasn't so far in that I couldn't back out.
