This quiz has probably been on the board before. But I'm curious, humor me please, take the quiz (again, if you've done it before) and post your scores here.

I'll start off. 100/100

I do realize this, I think it's a fun quiz, and I've known pleanty of people who come out statist. But I think it gives people a good starting point for conversations.

Huh. Wonder if I'll get the same score I got last time.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 50%.

LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

I'm right on the border between Liberal and Libertarian. That's what I get for saying "Maybe" three times on the Economic section...

For the record my "maybes" were for:
* corporate charity (I think the government should intervene when the industry at risk represents a vital service, where letting the industry fail would lead to widespread economic chaos)
* Privatizing Social Security question (I think people should be able to opt out of regular social security and privately invest the funds if they so desire)
* cutting taxes/programs (I think most programs could be seriously trimmed and still be just as effective - and some programs just look effective and only exist to make certain politicians look good. Thing is, it takes a remarkably intelligent and impartial person to tell what can be cut without actual negative consequences.)
