The Republicans are red.

The Democrats are Blue.

AZRogue says

We just happen to need more political options along some of the different degrees between the poles.

The Greys? The Purples? IS it possible to make it clear in America (If we start now we have 4 years and a few months) that purple is the answer? Is the swing towards centricism true?

How does one push the middle?

Analogy? Loving football more than the Steelers?

If I was trying it I would be attacking entrenched Washington politics and highlight the extreme corruption to be found there. I'd say that politicians aren't experts in how the country should be ran since so much of their education and work on the job is geared to having themselves re-elected while securing enough power to ensure their comfort and influence.

I'd also probably detail both extremes, the extremely conservative and the extremely liberal, and then ask Americans if that's really all there is--are those really the only two choices we want, as a country?

And then I'd hit them with the options.
