I wonder how much McCain's speech-giving foibles will bear an unfavorable comparison with a certain lame-duck president who has been known to be a less than eloquent.

I'm sorry, but it SHOULD be relevant.

I'm not saying the POTUS should be the leader of the Speaker's Guild (that's reserved for Ozzie), but fuck, your job is to speak to people and lead. Nothing else. At LEAST be able to speak clearly and convey your ideas on the spot most often than not.
