Two Dicks and a Nutt

This year the University of Arkansas will have two Dicks in th line up, the first string QB Casey and his younger brother Nathen as 3rd string QB. While on the sidelines Houston Nutt will be coaching, the whole name thing gets me smileing and after the BS last year with the Springfield mafia I need a laugh.

The Chiefs have an offensive coach named Dick Curl. Made me snigger a little every time his name popped up on the screen.

C'mon... this is in the sports section? Funny names don't require a jock pedigree! There used to be a guy in cambridge named Jack Imhoff (I shit you not) and another guy out Elmira way named Horace Schmidt. Because this is a heavily German area with lots of Mennonite folks, that tended to sound an awful lot like "horse shit" whenever the locals would roll it out.

Okay I'll give y'all some Razorback news, Freashman Nathan Dick is backup QB for his older brother Casey, great practice yesterday and the kid got an arm. Darren McFadden is on the cover of Sports Illistrated this week, last year he was runner up for the Hiesman, hope he gets it this year it'll be Arkansas first Hiesman.

First game is Troy on Sept.01, way better then USC like the last two years, Bama on the 15 at Tuscaloosa.
