Ok this site is fascinating.
Just to see what sort of stuff I could gather.

I had always heard both sites where biased but can't stomach either. It appears based off affinity ratings they are both biased but Fox News is several more times biased.

Great research tool here (not just for politics).

Fox News (http://www.quantcast.com/foxnews.com)

Political Affinity
realclearpolitics.com 27.9x
townhall.com 23.2x

thenation.com 7.2x
dailykos.com 7.0x
huffingtonpost.com 6.9x

This is really interesting to see. It must be a goldmine for potential advertisers who are looking to target particular markets.

Heck yeah. Most of the information is gathered from advertisers and their tracking cookies. Love the idea of advertisers selling adds to advertisers. :)

Data miner is kind of generic term. Generally means to look for information within a large set of information.
The place they get most the information is from tracking cookies. Tracking cookies are third party cookies that many websites are paid to have on their sites. Tracking cookies track the browsing habits of a specific browser and rarely track a person. That is the information has no real connection to who is actually browsing. But patterns of usage are found that give a good indicator of how a population of people will behave.

Hmm. Stats for my local TV station- http://www.quantcast.com/wvva.com

In an area with approx 1% hispanics it has them being the majority of users. I wonder what could cause those numbers to come up?

People know about Alexa right? I use it for web research all the time in evaluating usage of websites when we invest in recruitment advertising.

Wow, crackbook ranks number 18. It'll be first place soon at this rate. It's visitor numbers seem to still be going up.
