A tray painted like a woodcut and a little painting I call "Heartwarming"

Well, the tray speaks to me a lot more than the heartwarming. I like art that evokes deep responses and that tray does for some reason. It catches the eye and draws it in.

Heartwarming is very nice as well and it seems so to create the impression of cozy self-sufficiency while facing namelessness/facelessness/loneliness.

Awesome, I like both of them a lot. I could totally picture a set of mugs with the same crow on that tray, and the painting is one I'd hang in a heartbeat.
