Man, I love Armistead Maupin, always have.

Who could he be talking about here (http://www.holymoly.co.uk/news/28/who-can-armistead-maupin-be-talking-about-970.html), I wonder?

Audience Member: "Do you get angry about the closeted gay actors in Hollywood?"

Maupin: "...of course the Church of Scientology comes in very handy. (huge laugh from audience) It's the biggest ex gay movement in America. Then of course you have to do what they call an audit, where you confess everything you've ever done into a tape recorder, so they've got the tapes. So once you're famous and successful you have to go along with all their nonsense about people falling into volcanoes... (pause)... then you play a woman in a movie musical, a part created by a drag queen and written by a gay man..."

I loved the first three Tales of the City books, even if they did go down somewhat in quality. I haven't read the last three though.

A question that has been vexing me for years... Why can't Jodie Foster just come out and admit she is a lesbian. I mean come on!!! We all know it, she knows it, hell the Advocate already outed her as one of a group of high profile celeberties including Anderson Cooper who everyone knows is gay but won't admit it.

Seriously, there are so many people in showbiz who are gay what is the big deal? Is she afraid there will be a backlash, like people won't go to her movies? She does not have to worry about that, all her movies in the past decade have been shitty! Hello Panic Room/Flightplan I am takling about you!

This bitch hasn’t made a decent movie since Maverick! :)
