Both are beautiful, but the Valley wins by color for me.

I also like both, but I voted for the desert because it looks more real (mind you, the valley probably is real, but the colours are just too much for me).

The valley looks real enough - mineral heavy water (something blueish. fluorine?) running over an iron heavy rock - maybe a hematite sandstone.


Erm, as you can probably tell, the Geology nerd in me votes for the valley, because it's a lot of fun eyecandy and mental masturbation...
