This design was inspired by a jelly I saw on a marine documentary this week. It would be launched in a underhand fashion much like a discus.

Hilt looks to small to be comfitable in a hand, but I like the design overall.
Got something a halfling were-weasel Barbarian would use ? Natural materials with metal parts come to mind.

A crystal dwarven war axe would be awesome. I've got a guy using one with the perfect mini to go with it, but no really convincing look at his deep crystal axe. The axe this guy has doesn't really have the right feel. but otherwise the figure is perfect.

OK, crystal I can do, I'm a tad rusty at it but it is doable. You don't like the axe as it is, how would you change it? Should it remain a two-handed design? Should it be something in the realm of the traditional? Single bitted or double (one blade or two)?
Something "chunky" like this?
Or something a bit curvier?
Then there is something with a smidge of Dwarven flair...
Or something completely of my own design...
Or something that was even originally a design that *had* stone blades...
Anything look like it might fit?

Probably single sided (although I'm not opposed to a bipennis axe), for use in a single hand, heavy single axe blade (rather than the more pick like design). I could go either way on the curvy haft or straight shaft wood. I really like the dwarven designed one you have there. I was figuring crystal for the blade and probably studded through the rest, but more of a traditional haft of metal or wood.
Ultimately though I'm pretty flexible. I don't have much in mind just yet.

For the modern sword... are you looking for something with a Catholic theme or just a modern look?
