Best IM client?

Years ago, I used to use IM all the time. Some family used AIM, some Yahoo!, and a few even used MSN Messenger. So, I used Trillian. I was thinking about installing an IM client on my machine again.

Any advice?

I myself do use Trillian and have contacts on AIM, Yahoo and MSN. It is nice to only have to open up on thing to get to them all.

I use Gaim, it's open source and stuff.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gaim/I'm using Gaim Portable on my flashdrive, and on my laptop as well. It connects to GoogleTalk as well which I can't remember if Trillian will do.
