I vote (first!) for picture 2, because the file name seems to indicate that it was a fire on Christmas. That pushes that picture into the win.

Probably the first one, but I find the lightened branches in the top and top right of the frame a bit distracting.

#1, I find my eyes drawn to the details, it's just an interesting picture. #2 doesn't do a lot for me.
