I now know I no longer deserve to live on the same planet with this master of all.

That is amazing. Coming up with the *idea* of that piece alone is genius.

Oh, hell yeah! Now that I have seen it I really think I could pull it off but I never would have gone there. Even knowing it it is a hard piece to make.
Amazing all around.

First reaction was "meh" - until I "got" the image. Damn, talk about a mistaken first impression. The guy has mad skills and imagination.

What is the medium?
I mean, it looks painted or enameled, but I don't think such a fine surface finish would be achievable with anything short of a metal casting - which can be acid dipped to get rid of raises and modeling marks. But at the same time, the thin cross sections of the splashes would harden too quickly with conventional casting (I'm guessing lost wax) and create an incongruous metal sculpture and shrinkage would be an issue.

Looks like ceramic to me, with a high-gloss glaze put on right over the base clay.

Looks like chocolate milk to me!

I don't know the medium for sure but I would guess Schism to be correct. Enameled metal is also a possibility though. As are certain plastics, foams and even glass.
Probably ceramic though. :)
That is wild, who's the artist and is there anymore of his work ?
