Good news, cadets! Pack up your bedrolls, because the new dormitory doors are open! No more sleeping on the gymnasium floors, now you can pick a bunk and even stow your gear in a real footlocker. I might even supply you with bedding if you promise not to tie them together to sneak out the windows for some unsanctioned R&R.
Yes, cadet PWD, I'm looking at you.
We have three wings: Men's, Women's, and Transgender's Dormitories. These dorms are designed to be a safe, sanity drenched, and fun place to share things with your fellows that you might not be comfortable discussing with other gender identities. However, with great lodging comes great responsibilities, so here are the basic groundrules.
All information posted in the dormitory forum is private and will not be shared outside of that forum.
Do not create an alternate ID to view another dormitory.
Respect the Forum Rules in the dormitories as elsewhere on the board.Access for each dormitory will be granted on a request basis. In your profile you chose a gender identity upon registration. That choice will determine which dormitory you may ask to access, and I will double check that profile field so as to avoid any confusion. Please post your request here, or in a PM to me. No one is required to join these private forums, so it's your choice. No one will be refused if they meet the objective gender criteria, either.
Transgender access is more complicated than Male and Female gender identities. If you're transgendered, here are your options:
All transgenders have the option of choosing to use the Transgender's Dormitory only.
Transgenders who identify with either male or female in addition to transgender may choose to be part of both the Transgender's Dormitory and the other dorm of their choice.
Transgenders who identify as both male and female in addition to transgender may choose the Transgender's Dormitory and either Male or Female to compliment, whichever appeals more. This is to prevent anyone from short-sheeting a transgender out of jealousy for being in all three dorms and seeing all of the juicy dirt.Get packin', cadets! Your shiny new bunk and locker await you. Hup!
