How does Quinoa come? Is it like lentils in a dry-plastic pack, or do you get it fresh, or what?

Brussel sprouts and mussles.
Quinoa is usually dry like rice.

Quinoa's a grain from south america that, apparently, requires rather particular growing conditions. It's complimented well by spinach, but we didn't have any tonight. When cooked up, it almost looks like really tiny corn kernels. It's unique in that it's a grain with a complete protein profile, lacking none of the essential amino acids, and is extremely low on the glycemic index. It also has a pleasant, light flavour that's a nice compliment to a wide variety of foods.
Tonight it was chicken and onion stir-fried together before peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes were added. A little Club House 'garlic and roasted red pepper' seasoning, and it made for a nice dish. My wife gave my fucking cauliflower to the dogs.

How do you get it? Supermarket? Fresh or dried or cans or in plastic bags or what?

I buy it dry and in plastic bags. If you can get it, chances are it'll be at ethnic or healthfood stores. A store that specializes in Indian cuisine sells it around here (oddly enough) -- and grotesquely overcharges.
You throw in roughly four measure of water to one measure of quinoa. Boil the water, add the quinoa, cook unlidded for 20-25 minutes or until the water's evaporated/absorbed. Stir periodically. Serve on a bed of spinach, mix in some sauteed onions and garlic (and/or other vegetables), mix in a little meat, etc.
Damn. Now I'm hungry again.
Edit: And cauliflower's awesome steamed with some sharp cheddar melted overtop... or boiled until soft, mashed, and mixed with a hefty helping of sauteed garlic.
