Got in a agrument with a female friend over some BS her teenager did at my house (she lit a joint up while she was babysitting my kid), the kid and I settled our differences but her Mother still has the red ass over a few words I said to the daughter. Any suggestions ?

You bitched out her kid for lighting a doobie in front of your kid and she has an issue with it?

Her kid fucked up big and thats that. She has an issue with what you did then find a new bed warmer cause that one is clearly stupid and unstable.

I'd have to know what words are causing the conflict before offering advice, but Limper's idea would fix things right quick.
I told her that she was a low life etc. for doing that while LB was in the house (LB was in another room) and she'll end up in jail like her Dad. I'm not sleeping with the Mother she's a neighber that I'm helping out doing work at her house. (we were at Lowes when this happened)

She lives next door (not the couple with the Bulldog, I LIKE them) and the bitch owes me money, besides the girl I am sleeping with works with her. On that note Rache told me she was an idiot but could I help her so she wouldn't have to listen to the BS about the house. I'm replaceing the floor and drywall in the hallway/ utitlty room after the washer leaked for a weekend when they were gone.

Hmm, comparing her to her low-life father might have been a bit harsh but I probably would have said the same thing. The mother is probably pissed because she's embarrassed by the father's situation and didn't like you insinuating her daughter will end up the same. Or she's just one of those "my child can do no wrong and don't you correct her, scold her, or look at her cross-eyed" ignorant fuckers that's raising our worthless, slacker, self-absorbed American future. :)
Anyway, let it be and if she shows no signs of coming to her senses then fuck her. Not literally, doc. ;)

Got it all done except for the sanding and painting, she didn't have the last bit but I'll get it somehow, if not I'll kidnap her cockapoo and get Winston next door to screw it :)

Well, your first mistake was helping the low-life mom fix her floor. Your second mistake was letting the low-life kid babysit your daughter. Your third mistake was not calling the police on the stupid, pot-smoking kid. Since she's a minor, getting busted wouldn't stay on her record for life, but might actually have scared her out of her trailer park ways.
Limper is right. Stay far away from idiots like that. Once the woman pays you, have nothing further to do with them.

It is good to help other people. Strive to be a good example to the daughter, both in helping her mother and respecting your boundaries by not allowing drugs in your house or allowing her mother to walk over you. With out being there I can't say if the words you used truly did that but it sounds like you are trying to walk that path.

Thanks Varaj, the kid is a good kid just in with a bad crowd (she's a B student) and some personel problems, as for the Mother, shes struggleing with depression and other issues. We made a compermise with the money anyway, I need my house cleaned and the yard will need to be raked (damn big oak) soon so she and the kid will do that for me. Help those in need is what I live by, I might loss my temper but I try to live a Chirsten life (without the BS holier then thou aspect)

a teen is going to smoke pot if they want to, just like they will find a way to have sex if they really want to. i am not saying that she was in the right, but at least she had the sense not to do it in front of your kid. ya, she needed to be chastised, but i wouldnt have said she would end up like her father.i think the compromise sounds good. of course the mom might be sore for a bit, she is most likely insecure about the subject matter.

SS is right in saying that if she wants to smoke pot she will do so anyway, and just saying pot=bad and you will end up like your dad will only get her heckles up. But she does need to know responsibility; when you are studying, working, babysitting, driving, etc.; you do NOT drink or smoke pot because that may mean you fuck up your job. Explain to her that she was at the time responsible for the little kid, and if something would have gone wrong with the kiddie, she would for the rest or her life feel guilty because she might have been less alert because of the pot.
If you treat the kid like she is old enough to be responsible, and should act accordingly, you are likely to get more result than just dismissing her.
