It sort of bothers me that farmers go round shooting mountain lions.

Are there really so many of them?

"Real pictures, inaccurate description" does not = fake. Both stories are cool in their own ways.

Its not so much that there are so many of them but the damage they do to a farmers livestock is very noticable. One mountain lion can eat 100 or so sheep or young cattle in a year. Domesticated animals are pretty easy prey.

So instead of "mule killing moutain lion", it's "mule making sure the moutain lion is d-e-a-d".

Still pretty neat, but not quite as much.
