That seems irrational to me, I don't get it, everyone else is insane.
No you're the insane one ~wonders off talking to himself~

You really need to learn to read. Where did I use either the word irrational or insane?

Makes perfect sense to me!
It once was "anniversary of your birthday", but now it's just birthday.
Cause language evolves and conveyed meaning is all that's important. Varaj taught me that. /snicker

I think most everybody knows it isn't literally the day of the birth.* Or at least I hope they do. So the meaning is still conveyed.
*Izzy appears to be an exception.

:what: Izzy, have you never filled out a form that required your birthdate?
Birthdate = literal date of birth, including year of birth (otherwise referred to as Date of Birth, or DOB)
Birthday = anniversary of birthdate, occurring every year
You fuckers are weird.

I don't get it. Did he not know that what he typically call our "birthday" is really the anniversary of when we were born? I find that hard to believe.
Or was he simply dumbstruck that someone has a poor enough handle of grammar and communication to use that exact phrasology ("one's birthday is the anniversary of one's birthday")? Because that really is pretty fucked up. At least split the compound word for clarity ("one's birthday is the anniversary of one's birth day"). Better yet, use "birthdate" as someone above suggested.
Or is there an option "C" I'm missing?

I thought this was going to be a poll about missing members. Izzie is here? I didn't realise that.
I did realise that my birthday is an anniversary.

Hyperbore? Not sure what you mean. Do you honestly think you are born every year?

Izzy's posts for every forum I have seen are like air bubbles in bread. They are the by product of too much shit collecting in one spot.*
His posts aren't even nasty shit that you hate to touch they are empty vapid holes of no value. His posts don't disgust, but they don't offer anything of value either. I don't have anymore hate for Izzy than I do for those empty holes in bread. I do wish they were filled with something of substance because it is a waste when I'm trying to make a sandwich (or read a forum).
The person behind the posters is a wonderful individual (both times I meet him). Intelligent, funny, well spoken, etc. Nothing like he is online, but online he is absolutely worthless as a poster.

I'm not a moderator, I'm purely a tech guy. This is 100% Bella's show. :D
You are like a hot dog, may look vaguely like a dick but despite appearances a hot dog makes a damn fine lunch.

How fitting! I've always thought that hot dogs were actually soylent green! (Which was made from underrated men.)
I have no problem chowing down on some soylent green. It'd be about time some people started pulling their weight.

Exactly. I guess when I thought about it, I of course realise that what we call our birthday is really the anniversary of our birthday, but I'd never actually thought about it in those terms before. So now add me to the being paid out horrendously list (or maybe just compare me to food too?). Thankyou

Ever tried putting Izzy on ignore? It doesn't work. His posts have just enough twisted insight, raise just enough interesting issues (from a truly crazy perspective) that you just can't ignore him. I actually valued Izzy more (which, of course, isn't saying a lot) after I tried to put him on ignore.

Yes, but as a cheap food afficianado, I've found it's worth the effort/money to buy 100% beef dogs, at least on my gastrointestinal system.

Marlon Brando used to fill those with a slab of bacon and stick of butter, and look what that did for him!
...
...Hmmmmm. That doesn't paint a very compelling picture, actually.
I like Izzy when he drops the troll-bot crap.
