View Full Version : I did nothing productive yesterday and I feel guilty.

I was forced to take a day off work yesterday and I did absolutely nothing productive with it. I hate days off during the week when I don't have specific plans because all I do is putz around and waste the time. I could have mopped my kitchen and bathroom, done laundry, put up pictures, boxed up some things or cleaned the fridge. What did I do instead? Got high score on Spank the Monkey and Wet t-shirt, and hung around chatting with you lot. I feel like such a slacker. :(:banghead::duh::ashamed::loser::guilty:
I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that it's 6:30am and it's still dark outside. I fucking hate this time of year (see my How Do You Wake Up in the Morning? thread). :hissy::grumpy::tantrum::thumbsdown::yuck::kickcan ::sadpingpong::weepy:

I suggest you spend today at working doing nothing productive, then you will feel like it all balances out. :)

Yup.
Doing nothing is good for the soul.
Well, provided it doesn't happen all the time. :)

You would think that I would be all relaxed and happy about doing nothing but i'm not. I feel sort of wierd about it and like I wasted my day.

Cleaning your kitchen floor would have stopped global warming?
Did you jump on your man and screw his brains into mush ?

I'm selling indulgences, and I have three left for non-productive days.

We'll never know now will we?
Did you jump on your man and screw his brains into mush ?
Nope, he was 120 miles away being productive.

What's the going rate on indulgences this week?

And I'd like to thank each and everyone of you crazy bastards in this thread for not making any of them. I know it took a selfless act of will to refrain and I appreciate it.
I am however stuck with the image of FC's ghost overing over my bottom for all eternity.

Does being upside down count?
It's only upside down when I'm on the bars or using the grav boots.

If you had an issue with that you shouldn't have been holding me upside down.

My days off are mostly quite and non productive but my work days are pack full of way too much to do. Yesterday I got to work all day then spend the early part of the evening playing marriage councilor then fashion consultant, then art consultant, then tutor. In between I got a few moments to myself to grill a steak and steam some veggies while conversing with Janos about movies, tv shows and games.
Now it's 4:35am and I've been awake for almost 3 hours and have to start getting ready for work in 90 min.

Woman, what're you doing waking up at 1:30 am? Are you having sleep problems? :(
