Luckily for me, I had trouble looking away from the one on the left. Thongs are freaking hypnotic!

There should be a licensing bureau passing out permits to wear those things in public so we can be spared from the vision of that ultratan blimp on the right.

I think the real horror of this picture is that he's apparently eating all their sandwiches. He must be stopped before all those poor women starve.

This modern notion of the pleasing shape of women's posteriors puzzles me a bit. The sloping of the pelvis bones is sort of extreme in the case of this woman and it's at odds with paintings of nudes by late 19th c. French academic painters like Bouguereau. I'm providing a link to Wiki entry with multiple examples of female nudes that illustrate what I mean. How many women do you know whose asses resemble that of the woman in this photograph? Bodies differ in a wide variety of ranges and proportions, so I was curious. How typical is the one represented in this example? And what percentage of women with Bouguereau type posteriors--I could describe these as women with a more rectangular (for lack of a better term) bone structure, one that reflects the horizontal distribution of pelvic bones. The corresponding musculature and fat layers would result in a figure that resembled less of an hourglass.

This may be an awkwardly worded question, but it made me wonder about this. I have to go floss my teeth now...

I believe the thong is cut to accentuate a "round" outline, even if the posterior in question does not actually have that precise shape.

But yes, I have noticed a trend towards "round, firm" bottoms from the look you're describing (which you call rectangular, but might be more accurately called "realistic").

This requires more research. I'll look into it more closely later tonight after the children are in bed.

The thong is half way down her arse.

The bodies aren't much more different.
