I WANT A WII SO BAD
Varaj, if my tradeoff for having the world's most awesome human being at my side is to listen to some off-key warbling once in a while, I'll buy you a fucking mic and get you some shiny pants.
Y'know, so you can sing and dance, and wear tight shiny pants...
...right?

Bella, I believe the Wii would be fun for your whole family, and I haven't even played that many titles. When I was at my friend's in Joplin, I tried several of the sports titles with the Wiimote and the Nunchuk (I was particularly fond of the boxing game) and even sports I hate on tv were fun to play because you were so much more integrally active in the game.
My roommate wants me to buy a Wii, but I think I'd rather get a 360 if I go console in the next year or so. Simply because of game selection.
I really really hope LucasArts puts out some sort of lightsabre fighting game utilizing the Wiimote. :)

I think you're right. Part of the Wii appeal, for me, is the activity level. Anything that would make me forget I'm exercising, or at least make it fun, is worth the moolah.
Plus, Raving Rabbids! SQUEEEE!

heeheehee... right!
I know I worked up a sweat while boxing, and then there's the added benefit that you can edit the Mii characters to kind of resemble someone you'd get a thrill out of beating the stuffing out of in the ring!

 I wonder how many prominent political figures get their virtual asses beaten on the Wii?

LOL. I know some people have made former employers on there, but that's a great idea!
So I finally got a Wii...
The wife played boogie for like 5 hours last night, I think we have a winner. She doesn't admit to being a gamer despite playing DOA Beach Volleyball for seven-eight hours at a go on the Xbox, so I'm gonna force the admission.
Picked it up with Wii Play for the extra controller, a second Nunchuk, Resident Evil 4, Mario Galaxy, and of course Boogie. So far Mario is the best by my way of thinking.

I really want to get a Wii because of the activity level as well. It just looks like it is a lot of fun.
